Which One?

Here are the photos of the three boy pups.  I have first pick of the boys, and third pick of the litter. I am wanting a show male.  I used to show dogs a long, long time ago and thought I'd like to do it one more time.  But, if there is not a show pup, I'll just pick one anyway.  At the moment I like the first two. The top one they named Oscar, second one Georgie and third one Billy - after the oscar nominations. They are a week old here and pretty cute. The four girls are really pretty too. They've got more white. They won't be ready to go until the last of April.

There really hasn't been any excitement around here as of late. Today we have some fellas here digging out the flower beds that are horribly overgrown. Full of weeds and grass and stumps. It's a real mess.  When they're gone I'll take some photos. They're going to have to bring in a hand held Bob-Cat to remove some dirt that was dumped there for some reason years, years ago.  We can't remember why it was dumped there. But it's a terrible mess.

Today I'm going to take Madison to the movies to see Dr. Seuss' The Lomax 3D.  She's been itching to see it but because of school, she can't go in the evenings. Should be pretty good,  Will let you know.!!  We go at 3 pm.  It's going to be 70 today!! Much too nice to go sit in the movies....

I'm doing pretty good at the fitness center. Still going every morning at 8 am for an hour. Well, I've got to go clean house. It's pretty much a mess too....Have a good hump day!!

Fun Days

Friday I went home to attend a luncheon for this sweet gal Nicky. They just finished building  a home in Myrtle Beach, SC and were home to get a few things. They are keeping their home here because her mom still lives there.  We don't get to see Nicky very often, so we had a nice luncheon and 10  of her friends from our class showed up. The doll you see there is Nicki.  We call her Nicky's alter Ego.  Nicky was not able to come to our 45th High School Reunion so some of her friends brought her and had a mask of Nicky that covered face and was the face of Nicky-complicated huh???  Anyway, some how I was given Nicki to come  home with me and have had her since August.  I dressed her up in the girls clothes and would take pictures of her in the pool, by a tree, with pumpkins, in Bob's Corvette, at the table....and soooo...When we decided to have Nicky a luncheon, I bought her a new dress, size 5T, and brought her to Nicky.  We had a lot of fun with it -  We had a great time and had yummy food and even yummier desserts!! 


Today at noon we got together with the kids like we usually do on Saturdays for lunch at Grazionio's.  It was really packed today because WVU was playing basketball and everyone was watching it on the TV's.  After lunch Bob filled up the kids gas tanks and we all headed home.


At 3pm we went to watch Madison play indoor Soccer.  They did real well. They played a boys team and beat them 5-3!!! Yeaaaa Girls!!!

Not sure what tomorrow will bring. I think the wash!! lol  I forgot to do it today!! Have a good weekend!!

Happy Leap and Hump Day!!

Last night I attended my first Chocolate Party! I had never heard of a Chocolate Party, but since I'm a big Chocolate lover, I thought it was my duty to attend....and it was a lot of fun!! and quite yummy!!! We had little meatballs with chocolate in them and a yummy Bar BQ sauce, salad with a vinaigrette raspberry white chocolate dressing,   chocolate mousse with fresh rapsberries, brownies, raspberry Daigquri's, and Tangy mango sangria's, and a bunch of other stuff.....and your wondering if I bought anything?? Wellll....yes I did.  I bought some Raspberry Daiquiri mix, dark chocolate covered fruit, sugar free milk chocolate pieces,  and the most delicious Sweet n Smokey chocolate BBQ sauce, that was to die for...my favorite thing of the night!! All the chocolate is Dove Chocolate, so you know just how yummy everything was!!! Plus a little cookbook full of Dove chocolate recipes....How yum is that?!

I'm doing well at the fitness center and I have to tell you that I feel better already. Espically my knees! They feel a lot better!! It takes an hour to go through everything.  In time I'll probably add some more, but for now, this is good.

I'm going to visit a friend in the hospital in about an hour.  She's been in there for over a month. I'm not so sure I agree with her Doctor's treatment...has me wondering.  Guess I shouldn't second guess him, but I do. She had an abcess removed off her colon, and is STILL on a clear liquid diet after a month. They did an MRI on her to see if it was heeling ok. Maybe she has the results today. Hope so.
And they aren't getting her up enough....I'm just concerned. 

We had a fierce thunderstorm early this morning but I think it's passing now and it feels nice and warm.  Guess I better change clothes.  Have a great Hump and Leap Day!!

I Had Fun Today!!

Today I went shopping for the girls Easter Dresses.  Elder Beerman had a sale today and I have a 20% off coupon so off I went!!  These cute little dresses were $64.  and with my coupon and the sale, I got them for $27.64 each!!! That's good savings!!  I also got 2 little sweaters with no buttons and white tights. I'm not sure what happeded to the color here....everything looks like it's tinted orange, but the white in the dresses is a white, white and the colors are very vivid.  Reilly will look so pretty in the orange dress with her long dark hair.  Madison's favorite color is Blue and I just happened to find this blue and purple dress - purple is her second favorite!!  So! I feel like I did pretty good!!  I had no idea when Easter was until yesterday. It's coming up pretty quick!! April 8th.

Puppies Arrived Today!!

The puppies arrived today starting at 1:45 pm and finishing up at 4:08 pm.  They weighed in anywhere from 5.6 to 6.8 ounces and the majority of them around 6.2 ounces.  There were 7 total!! A very large litter. The average litter of a Havanese is 4 - so mom really out did herself!!  There are 4 Girls and 3 Boys!!  I have first pick of a male show pup and 3 rd choice of any of the pups. The breeder is keeping the best  female. I look at them and just wonder which one will be mine!!! They are all beautiful and very similar in color pattern. They are all black and white.  Aren't they just so sweet!! I can hardly wait till the end of April!! It will be fun watching them grow up!!

Oh Phooey!

Well Rats!!  I just finished icing a Sugar Free chocolate cake with Sugar Free vanilla icing and I just  just now finished feeding it to the garbage disposal.  It was just ghastly!! I usually use Duncan Hines, and it's really nice and moist - but this Pillsbury was JUST TERRIBLE.  It's left a yucky taste in my mouth. Don't try it...it's hideous. Shoot!.. and I was looking forward to a little cake for dessert tonight. Humph.

On my blog list, telling me who of my followers had written a post, there are MANY posts titled "References and Education" - Have no idea who it is or how it got here.  The last post was June 2011 - and there must be 23 posts there - Must be our friend Blogger screwing with our posts. I'm wanting to delete them, but I'm not really sure how. Must be a way. I'll have to give some time to it and see if I can get rid of it.  There is a name - a man's - but I forget. I'm sure he's very nice but I want him off.  Anyone else find an intruder??

Not much going on around here. I've decided to clean the girls room in effort to forget about my yucky chocolate cake now and forever in the bowels of the sewer... This room is a mess. Too bad I don't have pictures.  You'd be aghast at the mess.  I'm not sure where to start.  It's that messy.  But, I guess I'll just dig in and do it.... It's sunny and around 48.  Barney is out in the woods pretending to be a great hunter terrorizing the squirrels and birds.  Bob is in and out doing what ever...Have a nice Sunday!
